I guess I would need to spent more money for another one or two ice cube trays to make this thing work properly. I had one of these things I bought from a garage sale that I used for a decade but it was made from some metal and I used it until the crunching teeth bent. That one I had to put a cup for the ice to fall into. Since I already have an electric ice crusher I'll go back to that although it makes a lot of noise.

If I keep using it the handle will break for sure. I'm using regular ice cubes and not the mini ice cubes.

I should have read the reviews. I haven't had it two days and the lid broke off because I needed to hold it firmly somehow from moving around. The plastic easily ripped off. The worst thing is the handle, it's not really long enough and being made from a soft plastic it twists and is not stiff enough to apply enough torque for the business part to work.
